Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan flew to Saudi Arabia on Saturday as Turkey engaged in shuttle diplomacy with Arab countries in the search for a cease-fire in the Middle East.Meanwhile around 5,000 Turks shouting 'killer Israel' protested in downtown Ankara as anger mounted over Israeli air strikes on Gaza.The demonstration was the second in Turkey in as many days. Protesters waved Palestinian flags in support of Gaza's Islamic militant rulers, Hamas.The fighting between Israel and Hamas militants has troubled Turkey's efforts to broker a wider peace between Israel and its Arab opponents, and Syria has suspended Turkish-brokered talks with Israel.
